Job Training Services

The Opportunities Job Training Program is a hands-on way for women & men in the community to learn the skills needed to obtain a living wage job in a food service, barista, or retail environment. Cafe AZ's and Second Beginning Treasures are both an integral part of this program. When you come to dine or shop with us in our cafe or thrift store, you will often see new faces, as our trainees are sometimes only with us a few months before being placed in a more permanent job and our mission for them accomplished.
Shelter Services

The YWCA Wenatchee Valley provides emergency shelter and transitional homes for women in need in the valley. We currently have Emogene's Emergency Shelter and the Bridges Transitional Housing programs open to our clients. We are in the process of buying a new complex for more housing, and extend our services to families. We are still raising money to fund this important project.
Programs
YWCA services are free. The YWCA is a nonprofit organization that thrives on the help and generosity of many individuals and corporations who are willing to make a difference in someone else's life. Without their help, these programs would not be possible.
