Glad Rags Program

With continued support from our community of YWCA Wenatchee Valley, we are able to help more women in our community everyday. The YWCA has always been dedicated to empowering women and providing them with the resources to achieve that empowerment; including dressing the part when entering the professional work force. One of the ways we help is through our Glad Rags Program, formerly known as the Working Wardrobe Program.

We have recently moved our boutique from 212 First Street at the YWCA building, to a newer spacious building and renamed and revamped the look and feel of the whole store.  Our new thrift store "Second Beginnings Treasures" is located at 231A N. Wenatchee Ave., half block north of Wenatchee Convention Center.

The YWCA Wenatchee Valley and Second Beginning Treasures are pleased to make available quality clothing for women and teenage girls that are working towards self sufficiency. This includes a new job, interviews or those who are new to the professional work force.

This service is free to participants in local employment preparation programs and students in local schools. Referrals are also accepted from YWCA members and employers.
