Philanthropy etymologically means "the love of humanity", in the sense of "what it is to be human", the essence of our humanity.  It is based on the voluntary action for the common good. It is a tradition of giving and sharing that is primary to the quality of life; and the YWCA values the support of its donors.

Generosity plays an ever-important role in the lives touched through the programs at the YWCA of Wenatchee Valley. Contributions provide important support to our programs - Homelessness Preventioin, Emergency Shelter, Job Training, Rental Education, and Empowerment for Women. Your gift - no matter how large or small - makes a difference in providing the highest quality of service.

The YWCA is comprised of devoted staff united by a common commitment to enrich the quality of life of women and girls in the Greater Wenatchee Valley. We are thankful for the donors who make our mission possible.

Your interest in our programs is greatly appreciated. Find out how you can be a part of our continuing effort to provide important services.
