The YWCA Wenatchee Valley appreciates all of the hard work
and support our volunteers have given to us.
Volunteers are a vital part of the YWCA Wenatchee Valley.
By sharing your time and talents with us, you join a team of individuals who are making a difference for families seeking critical services
including those who are homelessness and underprivileged.

We offer a number of rewarding volunteer opportunities to choose from. Contact us to see how you can contribute to empowering women.

Cafe AZ's
  • Gain new skills
  • Mentor trainees
  • Assist in the kitchen or in the front of the house

Clerical Support
  • Provide basic office help
  • Bulk mailing, folding, stamping, copying, faxing
  • Help with other needs as directed by staff

Estate Sales
  • Tuesday Set up and Thursday Sale
  • organize, price, and display items to be sold
  • Direct and assist customers
  • Enjoy the socialization of regular volunteering

Second Beginning Treasures
  • Assist with sorting donated clothing to appropriate areas
  • Press and hang clothing
  • Display Merchandise
  • Keep storage room organized and clean
  • Be available to assist Glad Rags clients by helping to put together professional attire

Board of Directors
Qualified volunteers serve on the working board of the YWCA Wenatchee Valley. The nominating committee seeks to encourage diversity by recruiting women who represent a variety of abilities, influence, age, race, and cultural backgrounds. We are currently seeking women between the age of 18-30, women of color who would like to be considered to serve on the board.
