Emogene's emergency housing

To apply for Emergency Shelter or Transitional Housing stop by the Main Office between the hours of 10am-3pm Monday-Friday.

YWCA's housing program offers emergency shelter for women and transitional housing for women and women with children. Emogene's provides a safe and secure place to stay while women work towards becoming self-sufficient. Emogene's Emergency Homeless Shelter is available for up to 90 days. Shelter guests are required to set goals unique to their success and must work toward reaching those goals during their stay. Once stable, they are able to apply for transitional housing where they have more independence.

New Bridges Transitional Housing program serves women and women with children for one year and seeks to provide assistance between the emergency shelter and permanent housing. These individuals must be stable, have some financial income, and be drug free. Case management, job training, and educational services are available to them as they work towards obtaining permanent housing.

ywca store

YWCA Wenatchee Valley offers hands-on job training. YWCA Store is a thrift store that doubles as a retail job training site. This job training program is designed to help under-experienced, unemployed, disadvantaged or homeless individuals gain training and experience needed to obtain living wage jobs.

YWCA Store is managed by a Program Manager who provides hands-on job training to interns and under-privileged community members with the assistance of volunteers.

All items sold in the thrift store have been generously donated by businesses or individuals in our community. By shopping at the YWCA store and donating items to it you directly support critical programs and services.
